Winners of prior Nuke-Con miniature painting contests will be categorized as Advanced. There will be 2 categories for the Aftershock contest: Novice & Advanced. If you have previously won at an Aftershock or Nuke-Con in the novice or advanced category, you will be assigned to the advanced category. There will be a list available of advanced entrants. Anyone who has not won before may choose to compete at the advanced or novice level. There are no separate categories; all types of figures will be judged together. The only limit is that no figures over 9” in any diameter are allowed. All figures will be assigned a number to keep entrant anonymous. Voting at Aftershock is by people’s choice, using the assigned number. Everyone who attends the Aftershock may vote. This contest will run from 2pm to 6pm. Ribbons/winners will be on display from 6pm to 7pm. Everyone may pick up their minis/prizes after 7pm; all minis must be picked up by 8pm. Awards were given for: Questions? Hello All See a listing of events currently scheduled for the Game Day Here www.nuke-con.com:8082/nukecon/portal.html?exec=GameList&id=21 (more will be added as submitted and approved) Reaper will be supplying prize material for the painting contest. Many many thanks to them for their continued support of Nuke-Con! This painting contest is a scaled down version of what is offered at the annual convention, September 38-30, 2007!Lastly, we are looking for someone to teach a member of the Nuke-Con staff the rules of Flames of War. This training will be used to umpire a regional tournament at Nuke-Con 2007. If you are interested in taking a few hours this Saturday to teach, please contact admin@nuke-con.com. Questions?
