GenCon is officially dead to me. Nah, not dead, just on life support. It was a crap prize, if you ask me (or even if ya don't).

I have the memory of a turnip, what was the prize at Gen-Con again?

The top of clan for each clan got to accept or refuse an adviser from the shogun. That's it... winner got nothing special. Next year's kotei season (from what was discussed at the seminar) already sounds about 20 times better than GC was this year.

Wow, what's going on with them, they have almost always been good in the past...

This GC wasn't worlds, worlds is in brussels this year, thus this was just another random storyline tournament.

And this year's Worlds is the battle at the Tomb of the Seven Thunders...
It seems like the only real story in doubt is whether Daigotsu will side with the Empire or with the Oni...
Of course, I'm still pissed at the story team for taking the fate of the actual conflict from Diamond Edition out of the hands of the players - honestly, Iuchiban should have been killed at Worlds last time rather than being killed by a change-of-set fiction...
That's enough of my griping...3 Gen Cons with no major conflict being decided...
"In the Shadowlands, we play Go to the Death."
